If there’s a reason to catch Neil Gaiman’s Stardust, it’s gotta be Claire Danes.
Ain’t enough?
Throw in Michelle Pfeiffer as a thousand-year old witch and Robert De Niro as a pirate and you’ll probably agree that Stardust is definitely a summer movie not to be missed.
I guess nobody really knows that my favourite actress is Claire Danes.
Of course Jessica Alba’s hot and Nicole Kidman’s sophisticated and Meryl Streep’s oscar-winning skills are not to be messed with,
I like em all.
But I went bananas over Claire ever since director Baz Lurhmann’s William Shakespears’ Romeo + Juliet.
She made an appearance in The Terminator 3 and in Stephen Daldry’s The Hours starring Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore, and Meryl Streep and that’s the last I saw of her.
She starred in Lajos Koltai’s Evening but is that movie up yet?
Imagine my delight when there’s a movie starring her as a beautiful fallen star.
This is an adult’s fantasy movie of magic, love, and adventure.
No wand-flickering-to-save-godfather-Black-from-dying-in-the-department-of-mysteries sort of stuff, thank you.
I so need to catch her it.
